JK-12 Education

The JK-12 Education Program supports Munsee-Delaware Nation students from kindergarten through high school by ensuring access to quality education, resources, and funding. From school registration and transportation to supplies, tutoring, and year-end trips, the program works to remove barriers and help every student succeed in their educational journey.

WHY WE’RE HERE

Mission

To ensure that all children between the ages of 4 and 18 are provided with opportunities to attend school and successfully obtain their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D.).

Elementary & Secondary

JK – Grade 12 Education

Munsee-Delaware Nation does not operate its own school. Elementary students (JK to Grade 8) attend Delaware Central Public School, and secondary students (Grades 9 to 12) attend Strathroy District Collegiate Institute. The Education Coordinator ensures each student is registered, has transportation, receives necessary school supplies, and that all invoices are paid on time.

Mission

To ensure all children between ages 4 and 18 have opportunities to attend school and successfully obtain their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D.)

Goal

To support student learning and increase high school graduation rates. For students unable to attend regular school, the Nation provides an Alternative Education site where high school students can earn credits through Thames Valley District School Board.
